Lara Alkofer

Dr. Alkofer grew up in Summerville, SC, and graduated with a BS in Biology from Wofford College (whoo hoo Terriers). After working in the Biotech field at Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and graduated from Washington State University (go Cougs!) School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. After spending several years working primarily as an emergency veterinarian, she relocated to Orange County, CA in 2003. Since then, she has been enjoying small animal practice as a relief veterinarian at several practices throughout south Orange County. Since 2017, she has spent much of her time at Lake Forest Animal Clinic. She loves her patients, the clients, and the great collaboration with the other doctors and staff. When she is not working, she spends time with her family enjoying Southern California’s great outdoors.
