Dr. Trope is originally from Washington DC but spent his high school years in Florida and college years in Indiana. He received his bachelor degree in biology (biochemistry) from Purdue University in 1995 and graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University in 1999. After graduation he completed a rotating small animal internship at a specialty hospital in Florida before moving out to California. Dr. Trope’s special interests are surgery, specifically intestinal and bladder surgery. Dr. Trope also has a special interest in feline medicine. He has a senior cat at home named Polly. In addition to Dr. Trope’s impressive veterinary knowledge and experience, Dr. Trope is compassionate and dedicated to each patient. He is an easy-going person and is known to make people laugh. He enjoys his free time outdoors, especially sailing and scuba diving.
